Diary of LAO CAI – HUNG TEMPLE – HA NOI

Diary of LAO CAI – HUNG TEMPLE – HA NOI
6.00 – 9.30 : We started traveling from our school to Hung Temple by coach. It was about 240km so it took us three hours to get there. On the coach, we sang, asked and answered the question of very subjects happily and excitedly. We played a very special game called “ Choose the right price”. The atmosphere is very wonderful when some of us got some surprising gifts from Mr Cuong, a cheerful and knowlegable tourist guide. I was lucky enough to get a packet of candy and my friend, Khanh, won a book.

9.30 – 12.00 : We stopped at Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province. We gathered at Hung Vuong Museum’s yard. Miss. Van Anh , a nice prsenter taught us about the glorious history of our ancestors. Then, we discussed some questions but they were quite easy because we listened to Miss. Van Anh very carefully. A few minutes later, we stopped discussing and played a game to share our own ideas. All of students were interested in the game  and the yard became very lively. After that, Miss. Van Anh led us to visit many temples such as Ha Temple, Trung Temple,… I was impressed by Thuong Temple the most. It is located on the top of Nghia Linh mountain. On each side of the temple gate, there are two statues of guard men called The Good Man and  The Bad Man. The temple were surrounded by many tress and plants. At 11.30, we came back to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we bought some souvernirs and ate ice – creams. We came back to Ha Noi at 13.00. On the coach, we continued had some fun with the games, songs and funny story.

15.30 – 18.30 : At Ha Noi center, we visited Ly Thai To flower garden, Guom lake, The Huc bridge, Ngoc Son temple. We practiced speaking English with forgeiners and they said our English are very good. It made us feel happy a lot. We also took photos with some beautiful Korean girls. Their smiles beautiful like sunshine! At 17.30, we came to the CWD hotel to booked rooms and took a rest. Then, at 18.30, we went out for dinner at a restaurant. The dinner was nice with some special dishes of Hanoi. . After dinner, we came back to the hotel. At the evening, we held a lot of interesting games but we didn’t laugh or talk  too loud, so that it didn’t disturb anyone.

         Sunday, January 25th, 2015.

5.30 – 6.30 : We woke up very early at 5.00, but the boys were even one hour earlier than the girls. At 5.45, we came down to the hall to gather. Then, we had buffer for breakfast. The food was very delicious and tasty, with fried rice, sausages, salad,… and some desserts like gato, profiterole,…The drink like coffee, milk, apple juice, lemonade were very good. At 6.00, we came to Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum and gathered at Ba Dinh Square. The household troop led us visit around the square and took photos. At 6.30, we attended the ceremony and parade saluting.
7.05 – 8.00 : We watched a video about “The last moment of Uncle Ho” at the hall of management committee of Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum. It was very moving and many of us cried. At 7.30, we celebrated a ceremony to report our achievement to uncle Ho. Then we went inside the mausoleum with the private entrance. A household troop led us . He carried a wreath with the name of our school: “TRUONG THCS LE QUY DON”. At 8 o’clock, we visited the Relic Government President, the Government Guest House, 58 Houses, Xoai Street, One Pillar Pagoda,…

10.00 – 12.00 : We visted The Temple of Literature – The Imperial Academy at 10 o’clock. The Imperial Academy is considered the first university in Viet Nam.
