Coming back to the Motherland

Hi! My name is Hoang Anh Duc from class 7B. Phu Tho, where King Hung temple situated is my home country. I always remember these lines of proverb: “ wherever  you go, memorize  the forefather anniversary on March the tenth”. The proverb reminds me of the long lasting history of Vietnamese People. Hung King temple is situated in a beautiful mountain 175 meter high  in Hicuong commune , Viet tri city, Phutho province. It is about 240 km from Laocai city. We can travel easily by coach, by car or by train. Thanks to our new High way, it takes us only 2 hours to travel to the temple from Lao cai city.
Hung King Temple is a large area of more than 1000 hectares large which includes of 5 famous temples called Thuong, Ha. Trung,  Gieng Ngoc and Auco mother’s temple. This area is not only a historic relic but also a tourist attraction. Every year, especially in March, millions people from many different parts of the country and overseas come to visit the temples, burn a joss stick to show  their respect to the Kings, who formed our country thousands  years ago. King Hung Temple is considered the original mother Land of Vietnamese people and it is recognized National Culture Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 6th 2012.
As a student studying at Le Quy Don secondary school, I promise I will try to learn hard to become a good citizen so that I can contribute to construction Viet nam - a prosperous and civilized country.
